NVidea has recently given the public a view of their next graphic card for gamers at their annual conference on March 25th, 2014. Although it is a top of the line video card that brings gaming to a whole new level, it has a price tag of $3,000!
Boasting a dual-GPU (Graphical Processing Unit) that combined are two Kepler processors with a dedicated memory of 12GB. To make this easier to understand this is the most advanced graphics card that NVidea has developed to date.
Despite the price tag, that normal gamers will hit the floor over, this card is said to be the stepping stone that will usher in the multi-monitor 5K gaming. This means the ability to use displays and have a total resolution of 5,120 pixels by 2,700 pixels across multiple monitors.
Jen-Hsun Huang, the CEO of NVidea was the person to unveil this monster card during a presentation that was focusing on gaming and users that need a super powered card that will help with rendering 3D models, animating videos and even mining BitCoins.
Though the price of this unit is so high, the power to dollar comparison between this unit and NVidea’s other professional grade Telsa video cards works out to be a lot less expensive. That being said, the price tag will still be a shock on anyone’s system when they get the bill.
This card, when you look at it is on the same level as buying an entire computer for many users. That is crazy, but at least it is a large step in the right direction.
What are your thoughts on this super graphics card?
