I do not build temporary fixes. My home lab, the way I manage my game servers, and the way I design my MSP services are all built on the concept of sustainability. Sustainable IT means building systems that operate for years, not days, by designing for scale and resilience from day one.
In an industry that chases the “new,” I chase the “stable.” I focus on standards, documentation, and proven technologies that I can maintain for the long haul. When I design an MSP service package, I am thinking about how it will look in three years, not three weeks. This is the engineering mindset. It requires foresight, discipline, and a willingness to say “no” to trendy, unproven solutions that might undermine the client’s long-term interests. Sustainable engineering is not the fastest path, but it is the only path to a lasting business.
